For an everyday winter jacket that excels in every condition but without the bulk, choose the aqua repel v2.

The v2 stands for version 2, and we’ve refined the aqua repel jacket to make it lighter, warmer, and more breathable over the first edition.

See why Road.cc rated us 9/10 here

Features

This jacket weighs a mere 362g in a size medium, compared to 483g for a Pro Extreme you can really feel the difference when you're out on the bike and barely feel like you're wearing anything more than a long sleeve jersey.

We have used a new lightweight 3-ply fabric from Windtex called Stormshield that has improved resistance to the elements. Its highly windproof and water repellant with a water column of 10,000mm. Additionally to this it's been designed with a high cut neck, close fitting cuffs and a longer storm flap to help shut the wind and rain out. In road.cc's words “This Lusso jacket just seems to work better than a lot of other waterproof jackets I've worn with the same rating. You seem to stay drier for longer in prolonged heavy rain.

The inner fabric has also been replaced with a technical dimpled material designed to help lift sweat off your base layer and through the membrane, improving its ability to transfer moisture outwards.

Reflective trim around the rear pockets, tail flap, hem, along with reflective logos offer some visibility incase you're caught out in the dark.

Eco Friendly

The v2 jackets feature a new windtex membrane made from polyurethane (PU) which is more elastic and breathable over traditional plastics and inherently more eco friendly.  PU also doesn’t interfere with the bodies endocrine and hormonal systems, nor does it contribute to PH changes in soil or water.

We use a DWR treated fabric under the armpits for refined breathability. Our water repellant treatment is plant based, fluorine free and fully sustainable.

Temperature range: 0º-12ºc.

*Rated using a single thermal dryline long sleeve base layer underneath, giving you the option to layer up. Please note range may vary depending on rider ability/ sweat rate.

Great jacket for winter

I use this each day for commuting in London. Really good for anything between zero and 10 - keeps out the rain, wind and cold. Very thin but still really warm (can get quite warm on longer rides) and snug.

Amazing

Bought one of these jackets for myself, and I've got to say, it's an amazing bit of kit. I've got a Gabba, which never gets used anymore . This one is my 'go to' every time. It's lightweight, but still protects me from the cold winds and showers that come my way. My wife is quite a nesh person in the colder months, but I had no hesitation in buying the ladies version for her. She absolutely loves it. She also has some Castelli jackets, but this jacket is always hwe first choice.
