Bib Tights. The cornerstone of four-season cycling.

In cycling ‚ doing things the old fashioned way conjures images of red wine in bidons and leather toe straps. It turns out that broadly the contemporary equivalents of isotonic drinks and clipless pedals are better.

There are some areas, however, where we think there's still a place for the old fashioned way, and the Lusso Traditional Bib tights are just that.

They're a pad free, cold weather bib tight with foot straps instead of cuffs. They're designed to be worn over the top of your favourite shorts. No riding up, no slipping down.

We've gone for a fleece lined Roubaix fabric which does use (admittedly modern) water repellent (DWR) treatment to keep the worst of the weather off and we've reinforced the knee with a double layer for extra cold and wind resistance. As with all Lusso DWR treatment it's completely PFC free - great for you, even better for the environment. 

Finally, reflective detailing on the calves help keep you visible and the Roubaix upper bib top keeps everything in place, adding extra warmth without stopping your torso layers from doing their job.

lovely close fit (medium, I'm 1.8m &1kg) feel warm as soon as i put them on. Like the foot straps. Great riding with shorts and base layers even at 2-3 centigrade!

Well made and ideal over padded shorts

I've worn Lusso tights for several years. They are well made, very durable, comfortable and keep you warm in the advertised range of 0 to 10C. I wear them over padded shorts. Recently I was hit by a wall of water when a motorist drove through a large puddle at high speed. The DWR finish shrugged off the water, keeping me warm and dry. I have also reproofed an older pair and they too have remained showerproof.
